Hand Sewing: Mola Fabric Art In-Person

In celebration of Hispanic Heritage Month discover the art of fabric molas in this hand sewing workshop. Molas are known for their vibrant layered designs and intricate reverse-applique technique, traditionally crafted to express stories, nature, and everyday life through bold textile patterns. You will learn simple stitches, explore how these colorful layers come together, and create a small piece inspired by this beautiful cultural tradition. All skill levels are welcome to enjoy a relaxed, creative experience celebrating fiber art, craftsmanship and color.

This class is limited to the first 12 in attendance and is appropriate for ages 13+.
