"Who Wore It Best? Dating Photographs from Clothes" presented by Shelley Gayler-Smith — Arlington Genealogical Society (In-Person & Virtual) In-Person / Online

Join the Arlington Genealogical Society on the second Tuesday of each month (except July and August) for a social time starting at 6:00, a short business meeting occurring at 6:30, and especially for the informative presentation that follows! This event is made possible through a vibrant partnership between the Arlington Public Library and the Arlington Genealogical Society (AGS) and is open to members and visitors alike.

Topic for September 2025:
Who Wore It Best? Dating Photographs from Clothes — Do you have family photos with no names or dates and you have no idea where to begin? Come and learn how to spot fashion context clues that may help you put a name to unidentified family members or help you organize your photos chronologically. This visually stimulating presentation will discuss men's and women's fashion trends in America spanning 1840-1920.
