DIY Rain Barrels In-Person

REGISTRATION ON TRWD WEBSITE REQUIRED.

REGISTRATION LINK WILL BE PROVIDED SOON.

Discover how to create your own rainwater collection system, perfect for conserving water and reducing your water bill. In this hands-on workshop, participants will learn how to repurpose a standard barrel into an efficient, eco-friendly rain catcher. You’ll get step-by-step guidance on setting up the barrel, connecting it to your home’s gutter system, and maintaining it for long-term use. Collecting rainwater is an easy way to help the environment by reducing stormwater runoff, conserving municipal water supplies, and providing your garden with untreated, chemical-free water.

All materials, including the barrel, are provided with ticket purchase, and participants will leave with their own functional rain barrel to install at home. This workshop is suitable for all skill levels and is a great opportunity for families, DIY enthusiasts, or anyone looking to make a positive environmental impact. Space is limited, so be sure to register early to secure your spot!
