Artsy Teens: Oil Pastels In-Person

Join our Teen Services staff for Artsy Teens! Each week, we will explore a different medium or activity.

This Tuesday, express yourself with oil pastels! Pastels were noted to first be seen around the sixteenth century, even in paintings by Leonardo Di Vinci! Oil pastels, however, were thought to be introduced much later during the 1920s in Japan.
