SUMMARY:SNAP Storytime
DESCRIPTION:The Arlington Public Library welcomes neurodivergent children 
 and families to a non-traditional SNAP* Sensory Storytime! This 
 30-to-45-minute program aims to provide a safe and inclusive space for 
 children and families that may benefit from sensory inclusive 
 accommodations\, such as dim lights\, calm environment\, sensory toys\, and 
 more.\n\nEach session of SNAP* Sensory Storytime features a structured 
 storytime with a visual schedule\, including reading a story\, singing\, a 
 time for dancing or playing along followed by a time for free play with 
 sensory exploration toys. \n\nFamilies are also welcome to browse through a 
 curated selection of books at their own pace.\n\nThis program is designed 
 for ages 2-5\, physically and developmentally\, and is free and open to the 
 public. \n\nRegistration is strongly suggested as this program is limited 
 to 10 families to maintain an accommodating space. Please register for the

 Supporting Neurodivergent Access to Programming:\n\nSNAP programs are 
 sensory-friendly and targeted toward the needs of neurodivergent children\, 
 teens\, adults\, and their families/caregivers. Neurodivergent includes 
 autism spectrum disorder\, ADD/ADHD\, Tourette’s and other developmental
