Draw With Me In-Person

Step into your drawing journey at Arlington Public Library! Be introduced to the basic techniques of drawing along with various tools such as pencils, charcoal pencils, pastels, and color pencils, and a space where you find freedom of exploration of creativity and imagination in your artwork, and joy in what you create. We focus on the experience rather than the outcome in our drawing journey, and as the notable artist Bob Ross stated: "We don't make mistakes, just happy accidents."

To celebrate Lunar New Year, we are exploring the history of Lion Dancing, a popular figure in Lunar New Year celebrations. Come to learn and create your own Lion Dancer!

This program is designed for Tweens ages 9-12 and is free and open to the public, no registration required. Space and supplies are first come, first served. If you have any questions, please contact us at (817) 459-6900 or by email at LIBYouthServices@arlingtontx.gov.

Thank you to the Friends and Foundation of the Public Library for their generous support of our programming.
