Letters to Santa Drop-Off In-Person
Downtown Arlington, in collaboration with the Arlington Public Library and the United States Postal Service, invites you and your family to a magical event where you can write a letter to Santa and place it in the mail!
From November 18th through December 5th during library hours, kids can write and drop off their letter to Santa in Santa's Red Mailbox at the George W. Hawkes Downtown Library. Letter writing materials will be provided including paper, pencils, envelopes, and stamps at the front desk.
This initiative is part of the United States Postal Service's Operation Santa campaign, which allows letters from disadvantaged youth to be matched with generous families willing to spread the joy of giving during this special time of the year. It is an opportunity for childre to share their holiday wishes and for families to make a difference in the lives of those who need it most.
