Changing the World Through Kindness In-Person

Celebrate World Kindness Day with the Arlington Public Library!

Come let TIME Magazine's 2021 Kid of the Year, Orion Jean, inspire you as he discusses his book, Race to Kindness. This author event will foster the spreading of kindness with children making blankets for children in need, making friendship bracelets for children to give to their friends, and sharing kind words with the community through rock painting.

Click here to learn more about Orion and the Race to Kindness.

This event is free and open to the public, no registration required. It is perfect for all ages, however little ones will require some assistances from caregivers to complete the crafts. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact us at (817) 459-6900 or by email at LIBYouthServices@arlingtontx.gov.

Thank you to Orion Jean and the Friends and Foundation of the Arlington Public Library for their generous support of our programming.
