SNAP After School Play In-Person

The Arlington Public Library welcomes neurodivergent children and families to SNAP* After School Play! This 1 hour long program aims to provide a safe and inclusive space to children and families that may benefit from a sensory stimulating play based learning experience. This program includes self-led sensory play stations and guided instructions if needed.

This program is designed for ages 5-8, physically and developmentally, and is free and open to the public. Registration is required and limited to 10 families to maintain an accommodating space. Please register for the program by email at LIBYouthServices@arlingtontx.gov.

SNAP programs are sensory-friendly and targeted toward the needs of neurodivergent children, teens, adults and their families/caregivers. Neurodivergent includes autism spectrum disorder, ADD/ADHD, Tourette’s and other developmental and learning disabilities.
