SNAP Sensory Art In-Person

The Arlington Public Library welcomes neurodivergent children and families to SNAP* sensory art! This 30 program is suited for ages 5-10, physically and developmentally, and aims to provide a safe and inclusive space to children and families that may benefit from sensory experience.

This program includes a step-by-step art activity with a sensory element and an opportunity to make an original piece of art using a wide array of supplies.

Registration is required and limited to 10 families to maintain an accommodating space. Please register for the program by email at LIBYouthServices@arlingtontx.gov.

* Supporting Neurodivergent Access to Programming:

SNAP programs are sensory-friendly and targeted toward the needs of neurodivergent children, teens, adults and their families/caregivers. Neurodivergent includes autism spectrum disorder, ADD/ADHD, Tourette’s and other developmental and learning disabilities.
