Discover Summer End Party In-Person

We're sending summer off with a bang this year with our Discover Summer End Party!

Join us at the George W. Hawkes Downtown Library for one final celebration before summer is officially over. We will be hosting a Glow-in-the-Dark Dance Party, complete with all manner of glowsticks and lights, a spooky campfire story time, and a Choose Your Own Adventure scavenger hunt. There will be free drinks and snacks provided along with some door prizes from our friends at Epic Waters, Go Ape! Zipline, and the Fort Worth Museum of Science and History!

Additionally, this is a great opportunity for you to get your Discover Summer Prizes for participating in our reading challenge. Everyone who completes the challenge will receive a free book and a prize bag full of some amazing coupons and goodies. We will also have streak prizes available for anyone who still needs to pick theirs up.

This event is free and open to the public, and is designed for children and teens 17 and under. No registration is required, and attendance is based on a first come, first served basis. If you have any questions regarding this program, please do not hesitate to contact us at (817) 459-6900 or by email at LIBYouthServices@arlingtontx.gov.

Thank you to the Friends and Foundation of the Arlington Public Library for their generous support of our programs.
